Fall Out Boy, Sugarcult, and Dashboard Confessional [2.1]

Hullo,

I'm incredibly busy this week, and I just know that I definitely wouldn't have time to write this post on wednesday itself, so I'm gonna procrastinate on my work right now, and start on this week's post!

So this week's theme is Favourite Band.

The thought of picking out my favourite band is daunting to me. I listen to a pretty wide variety of music, so it's pretty hard for me to just decide on one band, so I'll give you my top three.

Fall Out Boy.
I have no idea when or how I started listening to Fall Out Boy, but I love them. I still can't decide whether I prefer their newer albums than the old ones, but I definitely know that I can listen to any of them at any given time. Their songs just seem like the type who can fill up any mood, if you know what I mean. It hurts to think that the band has pretty much fell out, and boy, am I left with an empty feeling inside knowing that I'll probably never get to hear them together live ever again. Nevertheless, I'll forever love their kickass songs which both make sense and fail to make sense at the same time.

Now this band was introduced to me by my friend, Ben, and I have loved them from the moment I heard the intro of the song, Memory. Hardcore beats mixed with ridiculous, yet meaningful lyrics, and you get Sugarcult! I just love how they can sing about sex and whatnot, without sounding raunchy, but still be able to have decent Ballad-ish songs in the same album.

Dashboard Confessional.
This is probably the band that I have known the longest. It was introduced to me by my friend, Kian, and to be honest, I'm not sure why I like it. Some of the lyrics are ridiculous and their performances isn't the best, but I like them. I like their songs, and I can listen to them any time. It's just one of those bands that just gets me, I guess.

HI GUYS. HAIIII.

I've been doing okay. Well, not really.. but it’s hard to explain and it doesn’t really matter so I’ll just stick with “okay.”

It’s really nice having something like this again, like a diary to share with you guys. I’ve missed writing in the book so much so I’m really glad we decided to carry this on.

We’re having an E-Learning week this week. That means no school except for that one time I had to meet with my group for a project. We have a lot of things to get done though. I did almost half by Tuesday until I realised I was dangerously close to being right on track and keeping up with all the work so I decided to step back and not touch anything anymore. Until today. But I still have so much that I will have to rush the rest. Awesome.

School’s being such a bitch lately, with all the homeworks, projects and the need to brave the lunch crowd everyday so you won’t perish from starvation. Projects. I hate them so much. Especially group projects. Seriously, whoever thought that, “Maybe if we force them to work together, they’ll develop a strong friendship and produce a better end product?” WRONG. It doesn’t do shit besides get people pissed off because they only care about their own opinions and anyone who disagrees with them is automatically wrong. Well, at least that’s how it is in my group. Sometimes. But enough about that. Think happy thoughts.

I went pigging with A Soh at Swensen’s the other day. Omgosh. I’ve never ate so much. They had this free sundae promotion going on, where you get an honest to goodness sundae ice cream off the menu for every main course you order. It was lovely. Then we took the bus to TP to meet up with Trudy and hang out with her. It was fun. I’m glad I didn’t go home early. J

Then today, we had this Christmas party thing at a family friend’s house. And the amount of food I ate makes pigging at Swensen’s look like an after-meal snack.

That’s all. Sorry for the long post, but I hope you guys would post a long one as well. I really like reading your posts and I’ve missed you all. I hope we get to hang out again together soon! Speaking of which, Seong Eun’s birthday is coming up! We gotta celebrate. J

Hey guise!! It's been awhile.

Things have been pretty crazy in school with my project works and stuff. Everything is likeable there, except one thing. PAPERWORK. I absolutely HATE paperwork. Like to the max, like ttmxxxxxx X∞ man. :( PAPERWORK I DONT LIKE YOU.

But enough about paper work. I've been trying to scout for a cafe and a bookstore. Anyone with relative, mother, father, or friends, or friend friends-you name it- that owns a really nice cafe?? like those romantic places? haha.. appreciate it alot. :) ask around please? and if you have really pretty bookstores to recommend, comments below vvvvv

hahaha.. today i'm going location scouting with Stany... lots of cafes to visit, and lots of emails to send. Fingers crossed! :) Also like liza, busybusybusy days ahead...

Even though there's alot of paper work and scouting work and well, just alot of work, I'm having so much fun! hehe. (maybe not when Im doing paperwork) but still, I can see busy, fun, probably stressful, days ahead... but I think I'll LOVE them ALL.

Hey Liza, thanks for continuing the book thing. We all should hang out soon! preferably during holidays! I'm not sure if I can make it this monday. I havn't had my schedule finalized yet, but I hope I can come C:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Well, that was an epic starter. *grins* Since it's the first post, i shall not choose a topic from the list yet.
I've been really fine lately, as i have said i would. I'm keeping myself busy with school work too. Bloody hell, projects are piling up! haha But i will manage. Tonight is the night that i will rush my work. You see, my timetable sucks like a baby sucks a pacifier. My Fridays are filled with TUTORIALS. Which means; no skipping. (boohoo) and classes starts AT 9AM and ENDS AT 6PM. Poor me, no? Fortunately, the last class from 4-6pm can be ended earlier 'cos it's legal letter drafting class. So if i actually draft the letter beforehand, i get to go home early! *grins*

So apart from that, the rest of the days are okay. 

TPRAWKS was awesome. I performed a song i wrote.. (teehee)

PROMAX was EVEN MORE AWESOME. Yeahhhh.. *NUDGE THEGEEK* (hint hint; still remember?) HAHA

Back to current day; today is a good day. I haven't laughed so much and really feel happy in a long time. From 8am i reached school till the time i got home i didn't stop smiling. Today is good. I just felt the need to note it here.

Anyway, i really miss us all being together again.. Many things reminded me of the times we used to spend together, like just sitting in the bus i was reminded how we played 'dai ti' on bus to Great World or Orchard.. I hope coming Monday's Breaking Dawn date will be our reunion after so long. I can't wait!

One last time, i'm really proud that we're starting this blog to replace our  usual books. This should increase our efficiency to write on here. Oh in case you guys don't know, iPhone has a Blogger app. So...iphone users (all of you,psssh!) download it so that when you are on the bus to school or from school; you can blog. *smiles*

Good evening, guys.

I've seen you guys around at least once over the past week, but not all together! We need to hang out all together soon.

Anyway, I've been doing pretty good. School has been extremely tiring and stressful lately, but I'm still alive. I've been pretty broke, but thanks to a lovely coin bank one of you gave me for my birthday, I am slowly saving money! I am rather proud of myself.

I've been having a lot of ideas for projects lately, but I haven't had the time to do anything. I recently started a collab channel and I already missed one week cos I haven't had the time to film. Speaking of film, I'm the director for my Location Production assignment and it was fun! I hope things turn out as well as I hope. I also want to film more short films. I haven't had the time to write or even plan anything, so Dinner In Bed is on hold. I still have a lot more projects in mind, but I haven't had the time to even plan any of them. Hopefully, I'll get to do so by the end of this semester.

I really don't know what else to say since I've been blogging about my life on my own blog. Hahaha. I hope you guys are all doing fine!
